Rheumatic Diseases Clinic of Oklahoma (RDCO) was founded in 2015 by the late Dr. Mohammad Faisal Khan. We have spearheaded research and treatment of auto-immune diseases in Oklahoma. It is our goal and passion to help restore hope for our patients and help them regain control of their lives.
Commonly treated diseases include lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis, uveitis, scleroderma, myositis, and dermatomyositis.
The clinic also has an infusion center where we can administer biologic treatments for autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Nyla Ali Khan was appointed a Commissioner of the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women by Senator Greg Treat in March 2019.
Dr. Khan is an Oklahoma Humanities Scholar presenting public talks statewide, including at women’s correctional facilities, where she focuses on education and women’s empowerment. Recent programs that Dr. Khan has facilitated with incarcerated women have been especially well-received.
Dr. Khan was honored by the Journal Record as one of the fifty women making a difference in Oklahoma in 2019. She was recognized as one of the 100 Trailblazers for 2018 by the Oklahoma League of Women Voters and recently received the President’s Volunteer Service Award & Silver Medal for her national public speaking and work at the community and grassroots level in Oklahoma. She received the Oklahoma Human Rights Award from the Oklahoma Universal Human Rights Alliance and the Oklahoma City chapter of the United Nations Association in 2016.
"My name is Cookie
I have followed Dr Khan since the beginning. He and his staff are my second family. Even with him gone his staff continues to take wonderful care of all the patients. I am excited for theirs and our (patients) future. The entire staff is the BEST! ”
"Hi, my name is Norma. I have been a patient here at RDCO for little over 3 years. When you walk in the front door, you're always greeted with warm smiles. From back office to front office, your needs are always addressed as the "Patient" always comes first. The doctors, Pas, APRN and nurses are always attentive to your needs and concerns. Should you need IV infusion, don't worry because the nurses in there are outstanding. I feel safe and well cared for here. Should you need quality healthcare, this is the place to be! ”
“I would like to take a moment and describe my experience with Rheumatic Disease of Oklahoma. I am a nurse by profession but moved to Oklahoma in 2015. In moving, I was unfamiliar with specialist in the area and was struggling with some new health care concerns. I was referred to Dr. Khan's office for further evaluation of my symptoms. There are new providers at the facility since Dr. Khan's passing but the staff have been fantastic at continuing my infusions, labs and medications during the transition at the clinic. I highly recommend the staff at the clinic. They are a great group of people!”
“I would like to say how happy I am with the care I received. Jeremy Morgan NP is very caring and listens. The staff is wonderful and inviting.”
“I've been coming to this clinic for years. The doctors, PAs, NPs, nurses, & staff are like family. They truly care about their patients & want them to feel their best! Thank you RDCO for caring & being there when your patients need you!”
